Yes. DateKin is designed with responsive layouts and mobile-friendly controls, though final device QA is still pending before production launch.
Go to profile editing to update structured profile fields such as interests, relationship goals, location, occupation, education, and visibility.
DateKin limits free-text fields to reduce spam, phone numbers, email addresses, and off-platform contact sharing inside profiles.
The current default is up to 3 profile photos. Admins can adjust the platform maximum later from admin settings.
Discovery shows visible profiles, excluding your own profile and users blocked by either side. Filters help narrow by gender, age, location, and relationship goal.
A match is created when two users like each other. Matching can happen before either user pays.
Yes. Free users have a daily like limit. Premium and VIP plans can unlock higher limits and more discovery benefits.
No. Free users can browse, like, and match, but direct one-to-one messaging is reserved for Premium and VIP users.
Messaging is DateKin's main monetisation point. It lets users prove interest through matching first, then upgrade when they are ready to chat.
Version 1 uses Premium and VIP subscriptions. Token or credit packs may be added later for limited messages, boosts, or premium introductions.
DateKin is set up for Stripe Checkout and Stripe webhooks for subscription and purchase updates.
DateKin blocks obvious and obfuscated contact details in messages, including phone numbers, emails, and common off-platform contact prompts.
Users can report or block another user. Blocks prevent discovery visibility between those users and stop messaging between them.
Review DateKin's community guidelines, safety guidance, terms, and privacy placeholder pages before using the platform publicly.
AI features are currently disabled during early testing to avoid OpenAI API billing. They can be enabled later with an API key and feature toggle.
DateKin includes planned AI profile help, conversation assistance, and match explanation features. These are designed to be modular and gated by plan.
Only configured admin accounts and users with an admin role can access admin-only platform management tools.
Not yet. The app has core flows implemented, but live Supabase, Stripe, mobile, admin, legal, and deployment QA still need to be completed before launch.
